Natural Decking Oil
A lightly pigmented, preserving-oil based timber finish protecting against heavy exposure degradation and containing U-V ray protection. Formulated with genuine Tung Oil (N0 Linseed) and other vital, biologically-active plant oils/extracts and Bees Waxes. Available in two, species emphasising colours: “Golden Pine” and “Light Redwood”, along with the popular neutral enhancing effect offered with “Timber Tone”.
External Decking, Cladding, Posts/Rails, Pergolas, Lattice, Fencing, Joinery constructed from treated-pine, softwoods, and kiln-dried/seasoned hardwoods.
Note:Pine is a softwood and its pre-treatment is generally focused on dry-rot and insect attack. Such treatments are not enduring against softwood’s major threat, wet-rot; maintaining with Ecowood Oil IS the solution! Not suitable for tounge & groove verandahs.
Garden Furniture Oil
A preserving oil formula designed as a maintenance medium for the enhancement of timber’s natural character and guarding against exposure degradation and rot.Available in clear, and two, light, wood-colour enhancers, “Gold Teakwood” and “Red Hardwood”.
Timber Garden Furniture, Spa Panelling, Shutters/Louvres, and Joinery (under verandah protection). Option for internal wet-areas/bathrooms.
Staining: Ecowoodoil’s standard “clear” Garden Furniture Oil will give a light wet-look (wet your timber with water to appraise) to the existing state of your timber. “Gold Teakwood” enhancer (for teak, pine, blonde hardwoods etc.) and “Red Hardwood” enhancer (for kwila, merbau, cedar etc.) seek to emphasise the original colour trends and/or restore such that has been weathered out (apply to obscure test area to appraise). Do not add further pigments/colourants.
NOTE: Some red hardwoods (notably Jarrah & Kwila) over time undergo deep-redenning in colour, to reduce/lighten this occurence consider our "Gold Teakwood" option. You may also consider "Red Hardwood" enhancer of teak, pine, blonde hardwoods etc; provider a light, red cedar result.
Danish Style Oil
A penetrative, nourishing, quality finishing oil which reflects the original, heavy-oil formulations that traditional Danish Oils were renowned for. Will not solidify in can after opening. Plant oil ingredient only.
Woodworking, children’s toys etc. Internal (only) furniture, doors/windows, wall/ceiling panelling, exposed beams etc. Not to be used on flooring or benchtops.
Staining: Ecowoodoil’s standard Danish Style Oil is provided clear, as such will richly enhance the existing wood colour/s. Where available, use offered pre-mixed colour options. Do not add further, other-brand colourants.
Organoil Woodguard
Woodguard is a clear light Plant Oil wood seasoner an sealant impregnated with highly refined natural waxes. Exterior use: An easy to apply one step application for the pre-treatment of hardwoods which are not seasoned or "kiln Dried". Organoil's Woodguard will assist in the reduction of warping, cracking and checking caused by moisture absorption and rapid drying out. Especially recommended for unprotected timber exposed during construction.
Hard Burnishing Oil
Particularly suited to powered-disc (and on-lathe) finishing with wet and dry sandpaper. Based on genuine Tung Nut oil, this product provides excellent sealing, efficient drying/curing and ‘handling’ durability to the finished item.Whilst not the “brightest” finish, will deliver performance required. Following the advocated “Burnishing Technique” (rear page) helps ensure greater hardening of this oil at and below the surface, also delivering a quality patina and better surface endurance.
Natural Wax and Polish
Consists of highly refined Beeswax blended with Plant Oils to form a firm easy to apply past that will bring timber pieces to life. This product gives a traditional stain sheen when buffed, highlighting hidden beauty in the timber's grain. Sealing capacity and durability makes Organoil Natural Wax & Polish a versitile one indeed.
